Hey there!!

I'm ANUSHKA DEY, a biologist with a passion for writing. I scribble down poems or sketches or anything that comes up in my mind. I also have a knack for painting, pretty bad at portraits though I try! And I almost forgot, along with that I'm an environment enthusiast and nature lover.

I started this personal blog to share my personal experiences and anecdotes about life in general during the lockdown. A chunk of my life without filters, as I say it. Life never stops giving us lemons anyway, so let's make the most of it. Even if we are from different walks of life, our lives aren't much different. So if you do like it, peek here in my blog from time to time, and you might just find something relatable. Perhaps even motivation or inspiration to get up and go on ahead despite all odds.

I was supposed to start this blog long back, but I faced quite a rough patch because of my battle with mental health illness. Even after creating this blog during the lockdown, I was actively writing for a while; however, then life happened, and the blog became inactive. I intend to actively post yet again. 

I have always had people very close to me who have always helped me through the dark clouds, and I keep coming back stronger. Not everyone gets that kind of support, which breaks my heart as mental illnesses still have a stigma attached to them. People not going or haven't gotten through them find it difficult to empathise or completely understand it. This blog is also for those who seek help and support to cope with depression in day-to-day life, to know that you're not alone. Not only them, but it's also for those who feel low and sad often. I know how difficult it gets to have a normal life with them. I'll share firsthand experiences and anecdotes that will hopefully make you giggle, if not nostalgic.
